Frequently Asked Questions

These questions have been selected from genuine inquiries

Q. I want a painting for my partner as a birthday surprise, is that possible?

A. Yes, my discretion is assured, I will only correspond with you direct by e-mail, text or mobile

Q. I have three photos from which I want one painting of three people, is this possible?

A. Yes, I will arrange the composition and send you samples for your approval.

Q. I don’t have a photo with the pose I want for the painting, can you help?

A. Yes you can visit our studio / pole room to have photos taken and then choose one for your painting.

Q. I have a photo that is very special to me, if I send it, will it get damaged in any way?

A. Your original photos are your personal property and will be respected as such. As soon as I have made a copy, the original is returned to you and I will work from the copy.

Q. If you paint my picture, who ‘owns’ the painted ‘image’, you or me?

A. Officially me but I will pass that ownership back to you and will always ask for your permission before using your image for advertising or placing on my website.

Q. What if I decide not to go ahead after seeing the samples, how much will I have to pay?

A. Nothing. I do not take any payment until you are satisfied with the samples. Then I will request a 25% deposit which can be paid by credit/debit card over the phone or online. The balance is paid when the painting is ready for despatch.

Q. Can you make any adjustments in the painting?

A. Yes, adjustments can be made when drawing your picture onto the canvas i.e. blanking out the background or enlarging or decreasing the size of any part of your anatomy.

Q. Can you paint my head onto a nude body?

A. Yes I can. If you want a nude painting of yourself but prefer not to pose yourself, I will use one of my models or other image for the body shot. These can make great ‘fun’ paintings for example, your head on a body builder’s body.

Q. Me and my boyfriend have a very intimate photo of us that we would love to be painted for our private collection. If we send it to you, will you be willing to paint it and if so, how safe will it be with you?

A. Nude, loving, intimate, sexy, erotic are all ok. Your photo will be treated like any other, that is with the utmost respect and my service is totally confidential. Any copies made for studio use will be shredded after your canvas is completed and your original photo will be returned to you.
